How FWDLink works
FWDLink is built around a simple idea: capture and organize privately, then share only what you choose — on your page, as a FWD link, or on Local.
The four pieces
| Piece | What it is | Who sees it |
|---|---|---|
| Private library | Albums and records under Records | Only you (unless you share) |
| Your page | Your public presence at fwdlink.com/you |
Anyone with the link |
| FWD link | A forwardable link to a specific album, form, or handoff | People you send it to |
| Local | Nearby Pages directory and marketplace | Neighbors browsing Local |
Nothing becomes public until you put it on your page, post a Local listing, or send a FWD link.
A typical flow
- Snap photos on the job (or import them later).
- Save them in an album under Records — still private.
- When you’re ready, pin highlights on your page, FWD a private link to a client, or list work / items on Local.
- Inquiries and clients stay with your FWDLink account so you can follow up from the same place.
Example
You finish a panel upgrade. Photos land in a private album. You FWD the set to the homeowner with the estimate. Later you add a before/after to your page portfolio. Separately, you keep a Local listing so neighbors can find you for hire.
