Marketplace listings
The Local marketplace is the board of individual posts — something for sale, a hire request, a job, or a community note. Listings belong to a FWDLink Page (your handle), not a separate Local-only account.
Create a listing
- Sign in and open your page.
- Find Local Listings (or the Local / marketplace create flow from Local).
- Choose a listing type that matches what you’re posting (for sale, hire, and similar options in the UI).
- Add a clear title, photos, price or details, and city / location as prompted.
- Publish. The listing appears on Local marketplace feeds for that area and can show on your page’s Local Listings strip.
Example
You’re selling a ladder. Create a for-sale listing with photos, price, and your city. Neighbors browsing Local marketplace nearby can open it and contact you through the options you enabled.
Manage listings
From your page’s Local Listings area you can edit details, mark sold / archived when those actions are available, or remove a listing you no longer need.
Keep contact options (call, text, email — when offered) up to date so replies reach you.
Listings vs Pages directory
| Pages directory | Marketplace listing | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Your ongoing local presence | One post about a specific offer or need |
| Best for | “Find a plumber near me” | “Ladder for sale” / “Need electrician this week” |
| Tied to | Your page profile | Your page + that listing |
You can use both: be listed as a local pro and post marketplace items.
